Building Supportive Communities: Clery Act and Title IX (Online Employee Training)
At Providence College, we are committed to building a Beloved Community grounded in our enduring principles of justice, love, and truth. These principles guide us in honoring the inherent dignity of every person, fostering empathy and respect, and promoting honesty and transparency in all that we do.
Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation fundamentally contradict these principles and harm individuals, fracture community trust, and impede our shared responsibility to create and sustain a campus community where every Friar belongs and thrives.
In collaboration with our partners at Vector Solutions, the Office of Equity Compliance is offering Building Supportive Communities: Clery Act and Title IX as a foundational online training module for employees. This foundational training advances our commitment to building a Beloved Community by strengthening awareness, clarifying responsibilities, and equipping employees with the knowledge necessary to uphold a safe, respectful, and supportive learning and working environment.
Employees can access Building Supportive Communities HERE by using their Providence College credentials.
Please note that the introductory section of the training contains an optional Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 survey that may be skipped.
